Teeny Rice Lights all year long!
String lights aren't just for Christmas! I use our teeny rice lights on brown cord all over the house.
In the picture above, I have them in my antique 1800's dry sink. With this idea, I use a garland of greenery and wind the lights throughout it. I love how the bulbs glow and reflect against my redware plate. I even tucked one little bulb inside my tiny log cabin to light up the doorway! On a gloomy and rainy day, this brightens up those little dark spots throughout our home and makes groupings much more noticeable and adds interest.
I even use these string lights on top of cupboards! In our bathroom, I have a tall wooden cupboard made of reclaimed barnwood. I added a pip berry garland in the color red and tucked these string lights in the branches. It makes a wonderful "night light" of sorts and also draws attention to the cupboard.
We have these lights in many lengths and even styles! We have the bright teeny rice lights that you see here, but we also have silicone tipped teeny rice lights, grubby silicone tipped and even mustard colored silicone tipped! These strands of lights last a very long time and I leave them plugged in 24/7 which also helps with the life of the lights. (hint: leave light strands and even charming window lights on continuously...I veryified with the manufacturer of silicone bulbs that they do have a longer life if left on instead of turning on and off repeatedly!)
Many thanks and blessings!
